Looking across Conneaut Harbor at a spit of marshy sand created by man-made breakwalls and a shallow lake that rarely stops moving. The views along the Great Lake Erie differ at every point, and constantly change with seasons, lake levels, erosion, etc.- and there’s something fascinating to love at every stop! The Fairport Harbor Marine Museum and Lighthouse. Fairport Harbor lakefront, long one of my favorite places to wander, has undergone a great many changes through the years, keeps getting better. Always an interesting place to spend a day, no matter the season!
